The spectacular fashion show with colourful and brilliant Nigerian fabrics will be more than exciting going by the assemblage of talents we have on our hands. There are eleven designers for the show, and they have all promised to show us all where fashion is headed.

On the bill are Vodi, Ressurection, DUI, Divanatrix, Baldon, Yutees, Great Expectation, E.node, Mudas Clothing, Keto Couture and Dzyn.

With over 160 garbs decorating the frames of our models, we will sure have a wondrous outing.

 “The Runway” event is the brain child of Ogua Iweze and Ofure Adive. These two very delectable, exquisitely beautiful and fashionable sisters are the Directors that run Dzyn Couture, an upscale and daring fashion outfit situated in Asokoro shopping mall, Abuja.

 They are supported in powering “The Runway” vision by their brother, Owuno Ogbeh (DF Studios), Ireti Dada (DUI) and Halima Yunusa (Hayah Fashion).

“The Runway” maiden edition which turned out the hottest fashion show in Abuja in 2010 featured 8 designers, 160 outfits and musical entertainment; all in the one night event.

Musical entertainment was headlined by hop hop artistes; Wiz-Kid, Kas, Ice Prince and contemporary gospel artiste, Kenny Saint Brown.

Mide’s Mane is for the upwardly mobile woman of class that loves beautiful hair.  As a Nigerian brand, they have labelled each hair with befitting local names like Asabe, Anino, Pero, Uwana. In addition, they are also giving a guarantee on all their hair textures to gain the confidence of their clientele which is something that is quite rare as most of their contemporaries do not give guaranties. Even though the brand is yet to launch officially, they have already partnered with M-net to supply the female cast of Tinsel with their hair extensions.

The lady behind the brand is Bukola Oleah whose middle name is Aramide, hence the brand name. 

She is an economist who recently retired from banking after 10 years to start her own business. She decided to go for something she loved to do and also had a passion for- hair. Although the Nigerian human hair industry seemed clogged, she realised that there was a void as only a handful of people were going about the business professionally.

The brand is gearing up for its main launch in few weeks time and they are ready to take Africa by storm.
